Prior to my joining Mind Click, I worked in, and shaped, a performance-based culture in the financial sector for many years. Throughout my career I was routinely seconded to different business areas which were deemed to be under-performing, tasked with the single goal to “turn things around”. Often, one of the first things I did was to introduce a performance-based culture. Having that culture meant I was genuinely excited to go into the office every day; I was motivated to do my best when I was there and I was proud of the results that I (and the teams under my guidance) delivered. But what motivated me so much? Well, let me tell you.
Mind Click is delighted to announce today it has been awarded Bronze for ‘Learning Technologies Supplier of the Year 2016’ at the Learning Technology Awards, meaning the organisation has been placed in this category for a fourth consecutive year. Mind Click also placed Silver for ‘Best Learning Game’ in association with leading retailer Boots UK. These awards reflect a successful and impactful year for Mind Click, which has seen them expand immensely and join forces with leading global learning supplier Learning Pool.
As you may know, we recently joined the Learning Pool family (which we are still very excited about by the way). With this came a huge expansion of our e-learning knowledge and expertise, as well as a noticeable boost in support and customer service experience with our preferred learning management system Totara LMS. But the thing that we are most excited about here at Mind Click is Learning Pool’s Adapt Builder, because it has the potential to truly empower L&D teams to own their e-learning internally. And we like that. A lot.
The authoring tool market continues to be an arms race between the big industry guns. Articulate has been keeping their powder dry for a number of years in the responsive design space. This means they have lost ground to Captivate, Lectora and other responsive tools in the ability to create responsive content, but that has now changed - enter the eagerly anticipated Articulate 360 suite.
